About Ethic Alliance

Ethic Alliance is a for-profit corporation focused on a social mission, and works with partner attorneys so attorney-client privilege attaches immediately upon filing a report with us. We also won’t ever charge you so much as a cent – our partner attorneys only make money if you win your case and receive a reward from the government, so our incentives are aligned. Regardless of the final outcome, you’ll get the full benefit of our experience, guidance, and legal protection.

Laws that Protect You

Qui Tam laws are a type of lawsuit that allows a private person, often called a whistleblower or known as a relator in legal speak, to bring a lawsuit on behalf of the government and receive a reward. The False Claims Act (31 U.S.C. Sections 3729 through 3733) is the oldest qui tam law, originally enacted in 1863 but later amended in 1943 and 1986, and further strengthened by more recent amendments in 2009 and 2010. Other Qui Tam or laws that reward whistleblowers include the Dodd-Frank Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, The IRS Whistleblower Law, and various State laws as well.

Recent Rewards

In the most recent year of reporting, the US federal government alone paid out $564 million to whistleblowers under the SEC whistleblower program (2021), $309 million to whistleblowers under the False Claims Act (2020), $86 million under the IRS Whistleblower law (2020), and in October 2021 the CFTC paid out the largest whistleblower claim in history when it awarded nearly $200 million to a single whistleblower.

On October 21, 2021, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission announced its largest, single whistleblower award under the Dodd-Frank whistleblower rewards program—nearly $200 million.

  • Get Rewarded.

  • Don't wait. Report.

By taking the right steps, as quickly as possible using our secure, encrypted technologies, you receive full legal protections and can maintain anonymity. Filing quickly matters when it comes to securing your rights to financial rewards under US law.
